Why I Do What I Do
For over 30 years, I worked in pastoral ministry. I built teams that helped start new churches, grow campuses, and create worship experiences that invited people into a new journey of faith.
In 2021, I co-founded a nonprofit called Thrive 10:10. There, I helped create the Pathway to Thriving—a simple framework that helps people move from survival to stability and abundance. Through mentoring, financial education, and personal growth, we offered more than help. We offered direction and hope.
As I saw how important financial strength is, I shifted into entrepreneurship. I founded Golden Rule Trades, where I teach new and intermediate traders a proven system to trade the markets with clarity, confidence, and consistency.
Through it all, my college sweetheart, Ken, has been by my side—my biggest supporter and partner in life’s journey.

Our Courses
Morning Method
The Morning Method is our flagship trading system that teaches step by step our setups, entries and exits. It is designed to free up your research time and be done by lunch. This method trades 9:30-11:30 am ET.
Live Trading Room
Morning Method Students are invited to be part of the Live Trading Room which meets Mondays and Wednesdays 9:15-11 am ET.
Power Hour
This course is designed to teach the Golden Rule Trades system and apply it to the specific character of the afternoon trading session 1:30-3:30 pm ET.
Building A Trading Plan
You Can Stick To
Success in trading requires guidelines that are designed to keep you in the arena for the long-term. This course provides an understanding of the elements of a good trading plan as well as supporting documents to help you draft your own trading plan.
Pre-Market Profits
This course teaches the Golden Rule Trades system and how to uniquely apply it to the pre-market timeframe. It's a great way to learn the system and to be done before the regular market even opens. It is designed to trade 7:30-9:30 am ET.
Devotions For Traders
Start your day with your mind calm and your heart centered on what's most important. These short 1-2 min devotions are emailed before the market opens and help you align your trading, your purpose, and your faith.
