Why I Do What I Do
For three decades, I served in pastoral ministry, where I built teams that planted new churches, expanded campuses, and launched worship experiences that reached emerging generations.
In 2021, I became a co-founder of a non-profit, Thrive 10:10. I helped design the Pathway to Thriving, a framework that moved individuals from survival to stability and abundance. Through mentorship, financial literacy, and personal development, we provided not just resources—but a roadmap and hope.
Seeing the importance of financial resilience, I shifted my focus to entrepreneurship. I founded Golden Rule Trades, where I teach beginning and intermediate traders a proven system to confidently and consistently trade the markets.
Alongside me in every step is my college sweetheart, Ken—my greatest encourager and partner in life’s adventures.

Our Courses
Morning Method
The Morning Method is our flagship trading system that teaches step by step our setups, entries and exits. It is designed to free up your research time and be done by lunch. This method trades 9:30-11:30 am ET.
Live Trading Room
Students of our courses are invited to be part of the Live Trading Room which meets Mondays and Wednesdays 9:15-11 am ET.
Power Hour Patterns
This course is designed to teach the Golden Rule Trades system and apply it to the specific character of the afternoon trading session 1:30-3:30 pm ET.
Building A Trading Plan
You Can Stick To
Success in trading requires guidelines that are designed to keep you in the arena for the long-term. This course provides an understanding of the elements of a good trading plan as well as supporting documents to help you draft your own trading plan.
Pre-Market Profits
This course teaches the Golden Rule Trades system and how to uniquely apply it to the pre-market timeframe. It's a great way to learn the system and to be done before the regular market even opens. It is designed to trade 7:30-9:30 am ET.
A Golden Rule Guide To Trader Funding
Trader Funding makes the markets available to most people who want to gain the skill and confidence to increase their income.
This course will introduce the concept of trader funding as well as suggest a trading plan to use to get funded accounts.
